The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Springfield, VT, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Through a comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower select Fellows with hands-on training and education in organic farming, food justice, and community engagement. Our initiative emphasizes building a food system that is environmentally sound, socially equitable, and economically sustainable. During their six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain practical experience in diverse areas such as crop production, ecological literacy, and community health initiatives. Following their training, they embark on a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profits to enhance food access and promote food literacy initiatives. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year, as we work together to create a healthier and more just food system.
