About Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)
The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Starksboro, VT, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years. Our mission focuses on empowering families through vital services, including nutrition education, supplemental food access, breastfeeding promotion and support, and essential health care referrals. In light of the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, our services are currently being offered by phone to ensure health and safety. To better support our community, we have temporarily expanded our food list to include more options, addressing shortages of some WIC foods. We are actively collaborating with stores to ensure that WIC-compliant infant formula is readily available. For any questions or assistance regarding WIC services or food availability, please connect with us through a phone call, and we look forward to supporting you.
