The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Stowe, VT, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to enhance food assistance through comprehensive nutrition education, essential supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding support. In light of recent challenges, we have expanded our food list to include additional options for hard-to-find items, ensuring that families have access to the nutrition they need. WIC also provides referrals for healthcare services to support the well-being of our participants.
