At the Youth Food Shelf in Underhill, VT, we are dedicated to ensuring that no youth and their families in the Essex Westford School District face hunger or lack essential supplies. Our mission extends beyond providing shelf-stable food; we also offer clothing, toiletries, and school supplies to support the well-being of local families. Community members can visit our Food Shelf during open hours to select food and essential items at no cost, completely confidentially. Youth already engaging in in-person services at Essex CHIPS are welcome to access the Food Shelf whenever they are present by connecting with a staff member. We encourage families to utilize our resources as often as needed to help promote a healthy, supportive environment. The Youth Food Shelf operates by appointment Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and we are here to assist our community with both in-person and no-contact pick-up options.
