The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Vernon, VT, is dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. WIC provides essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, and breastfeeding support, as well as valuable referrals for healthcare services. To adapt to current challenges, our program has expanded the food list to include additional options for those hard-to-find items and continues to collaborate with local stores to ensure the availability of WIC-approved infant formula.
