The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Warren, VT, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a just and sustainable food system. Our program prioritizes accessibility by offering a tuition-free experience that includes hands-on education in organic farming and food systems. Selected Fellows engage in immersive learning at the Allegheny Farm, where they cultivate diversified crops and promote food equity through community partnerships. They are involved in innovative health care education, maintaining local gardens, supporting farmers markets, and teaching food literacy in schools. With a focus on collaboration, our Fellows spend six months gaining practical experience, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge with regional non-profits. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
