The Community Food Shelf in West Rutland, VT, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing hunger. Operated by BROC Community Action, our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food in a supportive environment. We distribute emergency food to meet basic nutritional needs, welcoming community members each week from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with an additional slot on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. specifically for seniors aged 60 and over. We are committed to alleviating food insecurity and fostering a strong sense of community among those we serve.
