At the Youth Food Shelf in Winooski, VT, we are dedicated to ensuring that no youth in the Essex Westford School District and their families face hunger or lack essential supplies. Our mission extends beyond providing shelf-stable food; we also offer clothing, toiletries, and school supplies, creating a supportive environment where families can access vital resources. Our Food Shelf operates on a free and confidential basis, allowing youth and their families to visit during open hours and select items they need. We welcome visitors to come as often as necessary, and for those already participating in in-person services at Essex CHIPS, access to the Food Shelf is available anytime. The Food Shelf is open by appointment from Monday through Thursday, providing convenience and care to our community members. Together, we work towards empowering families in need and fostering a hunger-free community.
