The Food Distribution Center in Wolcott, VT, is dedicated to combating hunger through its partnership with the Vermont Foodbank, ensuring access to essential food assistance that includes staples, canned goods, dairy, eggs, meats, and seasonal fresh produce. Our mission is to meet the basic nutritional needs of families and individuals while also providing diapers to those in need. To maximize our impact, we kindly ask that visitors limit their access to shelf-stable and frozen food boxes to once every two weeks, but they are welcome to come weekly for bags of fresh produce and bread. We understand that transportation and scheduling challenges can arise, so for those unable to visit during standard hours, we encourage outreach to arrange for delivery or alternative accommodations.
