Located in Buckley, WA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to support Veterans by offering comprehensive services that address obesity and weight-related challenges, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique preferences. We aim to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with diverse treatment options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! service, which provides in-home support and clinician contact. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight on their own terms. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who may require additional assistance.
