Meals on Wheels in Burlington, WA is dedicated to ensuring that senior citizens who have difficulty leaving their homes and are unable to prepare meals receive nutritious, home-delivered meals. Our program offers both hot and frozen meal options, thoughtfully designed to meet one-third of the daily nutritional requirements. Each meal features a balanced entrée, a serving of starch such as rice or potatoes, a vegetable, bread, and an 8 oz. portion of 1% milk, with desserts and fruit included in many offerings. Deliveries start within 1-2 days of enrollment, and a nutrition representative will follow up within a few weeks to ensure that our meals and services are meeting your needs.
