The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Mount Vernon, WA, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month education journey. Participants will gain valuable insights into diabetes management with six engaging e-booklets designed to meet them at their current understanding and lifestyle. Each month, they will also receive an informative e-newsletter featuring seasonal tips and resources available in both English and Spanish, along with updates on local community events. Enrollees can join our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series by submitting their phone number, allowing them to connect directly with ADA experts, ask diabetes-related questions, and uncover critical links between diabetes and heart health. Together, we empower participants to thrive and embrace their journey toward better health.
