The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Pasco, WA, empowers individuals to become catalysts for a resilient and equitable food system. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, Fellows engage in essential activities that promote environmental sustainability, social justice, and economic viability within our communities. Our program offers organic food system education without tuition to ensure accessibility, while providing opportunities to grow and distribute diverse crops on a market-style farm, implement innovative educational sessions, maintain community and school gardens, and facilitate farmer's markets. Over six transformative months, selected Fellows immerse themselves in experiential learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills in partnership with local non-profits to further expand access to nutritious food and promote food literacy throughout Pasco and beyond. Applications are welcome until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
