MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Spanaway, WA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to personalized weight management services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a variety of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which utilizes in-home messaging for added convenience. For those who prefer a more autonomous approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available for personal weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after engaging with our program.
