MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Stanwood, WA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, and provided with tailored referrals to effective weight management services that respect their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! services that facilitate in-home support. For those who prefer self-directed approaches, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who face persistent challenges despite prior efforts. To participate in MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to explore their personalized path to a healthier lifestyle.
