About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Walla Walla, WA is dedicated to nurturing passionate individuals who aspire to be advocates for an equitable and sustainable food system. This immersive program provides selected Fellows with the opportunity to engage in organic food system education and hands-on training at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Throughout their six-month experience, participants will cultivate diversified crops, develop innovative partnerships for food distribution, and enhance community gardens while integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings. By supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, the Fellowship empowers a new generation of leaders to increase access to healthy foods within the community. After the Fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, leveraging their skills in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations to drive meaningful change. Apply by March to join us from May to October for an impactful journey into the future of food justice.
