MOVE! Weight Management Program in Yakima, WA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities annually for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management solutions that cater to their unique needs. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that enables in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-directed approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not found success with our initial programs.
