About Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Afton, WY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and over by providing essential food assistance. Each month, eligible participants receive a nutritious food box filled with non-perishable proteins, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with valuable nutrition education and recipes. In partnership with the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies and other agencies, CSFP also distributes fresh produce, dairy, and bread to ensure that no senior faces hunger. With multiple distribution sites across Wyoming, we strive to meet the nutritional needs of our elderly community members, fostering a sense of care and support for those who need it most.
