We offer tuition-free educational opportunities at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, ensuring accessibility for all participants. Through this immersive six-month fellowship, selected individuals engage in organic food system education while gaining practical experience in diverse areas, including crop production, health care education, and community gardening. Our Fellows are integral to building stronger local food networks by enhancing food literacy in schools, supporting farmers markets, and collaborating with non-profit organizations to promote healthy, accessible food options. The fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, where graduates apply their skills and knowledge to meaningful community projects, creating lasting impacts in the regions they serve.
