The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Alpine, WY, is a supportive initiative designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free, inclusive program is offered in both English and Spanish and spans a comprehensive 12-month period, allowing participants to gradually gain knowledge in diabetes management. Participants receive six informative e-booklets on relevant topics, a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information, and the chance to engage in our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can connect directly with ADA experts. By providing valuable resources, practical advice, and opportunities for community engagement, we aim to empower individuals to effectively manage their diabetes and improve their quality of life.
