Healthy U, located in Banner, WY, is an initiative of the Wyoming Center on Aging that brings Stanford University’s renowned Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) to the local community. This free six-week workshop is designed for individuals living with chronic health conditions and caregivers alike. Participants can choose from both in-person and virtual delivery options, engaging in a supportive environment while gaining essential skills in problem solving, healthy eating, action planning, understanding emotions, exercise, treatment evaluation, effective communication, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. By empowering our community through education and practical tools, Healthy U aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals managing chronic conditions and those who support them.
