About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Bedford, WY, is dedicated to empowering passionate individuals through immersive training focused on creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program offers a unique opportunity for Fellows to engage in hands-on learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they will master sustainable agricultural practices and develop a deep understanding of food systems. Over the course of six months, participants will gain valuable skills in organic food production, community gardening, and promoting food literacy within educational settings. By integrating with regional non-profits, Fellows will also engage in vital initiatives that enhance food access, support local farmers, and strengthen community food networks. With no tuition fees, our Fellowship promotes inclusivity and accessibility, inviting individuals to join us in transforming their communities through sustainable food practices. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
