About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Big Piney, WY, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Our program offers invaluable training and mentorship for selected Fellows, empowering them to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental stewardship, and economic viability. Through a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in organic food system education while growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating community gardens, and integrating food literacy into local schools. The Fellowship also supports partnerships with regional non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods and foster community food coalition activities. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring change-makers. Applications are open until March each year, with the fellowship period running from May to October.
