The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Carpenter, WY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food systems. Our program empowers Fellows to become advocates for a food landscape that prioritizes social equity, environmental responsibility, and economic viability. We offer comprehensive organic food system education, facilitating hands-on experiences in diversified crop production and healthy food access initiatives. Through partnerships, Fellows engage in community-focused activities such as gardening, farmers markets, and educational workshops that promote food and ecological literacy. This immersive experience includes a six-month residency at our farm, succeeded by a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their knowledge with regional non-profits. Our commitment to accessibility is reflected in our tuition-free model, ensuring that all aspiring advocates can partake in this transformative fellowship. Applications are accepted until March for our seasonal program that runs from May to October.
