Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on learning that includes growing and distributing diverse crops, leading innovative health care educational sessions, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy in local schools. Following their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to amplify access to fresh, healthy food and support local farmers markets.
