About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cody, WY, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become champions of a just food system through education and advocacy. Our fellowship offers a unique opportunity for selected participants to immerse themselves in hands-on learning about organic food systems, community gardening, and sustainable agriculture. Without tuition fees, we ensure that this impactful program is accessible to all. During a six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, fellows engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops, leading innovative health care education sessions, and developing local food access initiatives. Following this experiential phase, fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to further apply their training. This transformative experience not only fosters ecological literacy but also encourages the next generation of food advocates to strengthen community ties and enhance local food networks.
