The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Cowley, WY, is dedicated to supporting those recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by offering free, comprehensive education and resources over a 12-month period. Participants receive six informative e-booklets tailored to their needs, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips, resources, and community event information, all available in both English and Spanish. Additionally, enrollees can join a monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can pose their diabetes-related questions to American Diabetes Association experts, participate via phone or online, learn about the vital connection between diabetes and heart health, and access giveaways designed to enhance their diabetes management.
