About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Dayton, WY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for an equitable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through hands-on training and mentorship, selected Fellows engage in a six-month immersive experience at our campus, learning organic food production techniques and the intricacies of sustainable practices. Our program emphasizes accessibility, offering tuition-free education that empowers participants to lead initiatives like community gardens, farmers markets, and educational sessions that promote food and ecological literacy. After completing their fellowship, participants enter a Community Action Year, where they work with local non-profits, applying their skills to increase access to healthy food across the region. We invite those passionate about transformative food systems to apply by March for an enriching experience that runs from May to October.
