About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Douglas, WY, is committed to empowering individuals to become effective advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through this transformative program, we provide a comprehensive education in organic food systems without charging tuition, ensuring that our Fellowship is accessible to all. Selected Fellows engage in a six-month experiential training at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they partner with local non-profits to put their new skills into practice. Our initiatives include growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing innovative educational sessions in healthcare, maintaining community gardens, and collaborating with farmers markets to expand access to healthy foods. We believe in nurturing the next generation of food leaders and fostering community resilience through sustainable practices. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the experience running from May to October.
