The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Dubois, WY, offers a unique opportunity for aspiring educators and advocates to immerse themselves in sustainable agriculture and food systems. This program empowers Fellows to promote a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice through comprehensive, hands-on training. Our tuition-free Fellowship ensures accessibility, enabling participants to gain practical expertise in organic farming, community garden maintenance, and food literacy education. Throughout the six-month experiential residency at our farm campus, Fellows engage with diverse projects such as growing and distributing crops, facilitating educational sessions in innovative healthcare, and supporting local farmers markets. Following their residency, participants embark on a Community Action Year where they apply their learnings in collaboration with non-profit organizations, fostering increased access to healthy foods and nurturing community food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the Fellowship running from May to October.
