The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Dubois, WY, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, and bilingual (English and Spanish) educational experience. Over a 12-month period, participants gain valuable insights into diabetes management via six carefully crafted e-booklets tailored to address their specific needs. Each month, we provide an engaging e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information to enhance their knowledge and well-being. Enrollees who opt in with their phone number can also participate in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can connect directly with ADA professionals to ask diabetes-related questions, understand the vital relationship between diabetes and heart health, and access helpful resources and giveaways designed to empower them in their journey toward better health.
