About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Evansville, WY, champions the empowerment of individuals committed to creating a socially, environmentally, and economically equitable food system. Through hands-on training and education, selected Fellows engage in organic food system practices while fostering community connections. This program offers the opportunity to grow and distribute a variety of crops, initiate innovative health care educational sessions, manage school and community gardens, and enhance food literacy in educational environments. Fellows will actively support local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer food programs, while developing vital distribution channels to improve access to nutritious foods. Over the span of six months at our experiential Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, participants collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to implement their learning and drive impactful community change. Applications are due in March for a transformative experience running from May to October each year.
