Located in Fort Washakie, WY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to a variety of weight management services tailored to individual needs and preferences. We offer an array of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and access to clinicians as necessary. Veterans can also benefit from the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management and, for those who continue to face challenges, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
