About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Green River, WY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. By providing an accessible, tuition-free educational experience, we empower our Fellows with the knowledge and skills needed to promote environmental, social, and economic equity in food production. Throughout this immersive six-month program, participants engage in hands-on training at our Farm Campus, focusing on organic farming practices, community garden maintenance, and educational initiatives that foster food and ecological literacy. Following their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to cultivate diversified crops, support farmers markets, and enhance access to healthy food options for the community. Applications are accepted until March each year for this transformative opportunity that runs from May to October, enabling participants to make a significant impact in their communities.
