The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greybull, WY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a fair, sustainable food system. This immersive program trains and empowers Fellows through hands-on experience and comprehensive education focused on organic food production and community engagement. Offering a completely tuition-free structure, the Fellowship promotes accessibility for all aspiring leaders in food justice. Over a six-month residential program, selected Fellows acquire skills in diverse crop cultivation, health education initiatives, and the integration of food and ecological literacy in schools. They also engage with local food coalitions and mentor future cohorts, enhancing community food access and supporting local farmers markets. The fellowship experience culminates in a transformative Community Action Year, where Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to implement their knowledge and create lasting impact. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
