Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and provide tailored referrals to effective weight management services that respect individual needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which connects Veterans with health professionals from the comfort of home. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is an excellent tool to support personal weight management goals. Additionally, we provide access to medically-assisted weight loss solutions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite participation in MOVE!.
