The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hillsdale, WY, nurtures passionate individuals ready to champion a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Through comprehensive training and mentorship, we empower our Fellows to become advocates and educators within their communities, focusing on organic food system education. Our initiative offers a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning while collaborating on innovative projects. They gain invaluable skills in growing diverse crops, creating community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy in educational settings. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring leaders eager to make a difference. The Fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, where Fellows implement their knowledge with regional non-profits, further advancing food assistance efforts and promoting healthy food access throughout the area. Applications are accepted until March, and experiences generally run from May to October.
