Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran who seeks care at VA facilities for obesity, facilitating referrals to supportive weight management services, and offering varied treatment options tailored to individual preferences. We provide weight management care through group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which enables in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, and we also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent challenges with weight.
