About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hudson, WY is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators committed to building an equitable, sustainable food system. This transformative program sponsors and trains Fellows through immersive experiences at the Allegheny Farm, where they receive organic food system education tailored to address social, environmental, and economic justice. By removing tuition barriers, we ensure that our Fellowship is accessible to all. Throughout their six-month residency, selected Fellows engage hands-on with diversified crop production, educational outreach, and community initiatives, including the maintenance of local gardens and support for farmers markets. Following their training, they embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to implement innovative health care education and increase access to healthy foods in underserved areas. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the Fellowship experience running from May to October, inviting passionate individuals to join us in fostering a just food ecosystem.
