The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Jackson, WY is dedicated to empowering individuals to become leaders in creating a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Our fellowship program sponsors and trains passionate individuals, offering them a unique experience in organic food system education without the barrier of tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Through hands-on learning at our farm, selected fellows engage in a variety of community-focused initiatives, such as growing diversified crops, implementing innovative health education programs, maintaining gardens, and fostering food and ecological literacy in schools. As part of their journey, fellows will support local farmer's markets and develop channels for improved access to healthy food. After a six-month immersive experience, fellows will enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to apply their skills and knowledge. Applications are accepted until March each year, with programs typically running from May to October, making it an ideal opportunity for those eager to make a tangible impact in their communities.
