About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Laramie, WY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders committed to a fair and sustainable food system. Through hands-on experiences at our fellowship site, participants engage in organic food system education without the burden of tuition, ensuring accessibility for all. The Fellowship includes opportunities to grow and distribute a diverse range of crops, implement innovative health education initiatives, maintain community gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. Fellows also play a crucial role in supporting local farmers markets and enhancing direct-to-consumer food programs. Following their six-month experiential training, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills and knowledge. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program activities typically taking place from May to October.
