About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in the Midwest, WY is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders passionate about creating an equitable food system. This dynamic program provides comprehensive training and support for Fellows who aspire to be educators and advocates for sustainable agriculture. Through hands-on experiences at our farm, participants engage in organic food system education, learn to grow and distribute a variety of crops, and implement community-driven initiatives like farmers markets and school gardens. We believe in making our Fellowship accessible to all, which is why we charge no tuition. Over six months, selected Fellows immerse themselves in experiential learning, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge alongside local non-profits. The application deadline is in March, with the fellowship running from May to October, offering a unique opportunity to develop food literacy and advance community food initiatives across the region.
