About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Moorcroft, WY, is dedicated to nurturing and empowering the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through a comprehensive, hands-on program, we provide training in organic food systems, enabling our Fellows to become transformative educators within their communities. Our Fellowship emphasizes accessibility, offering free tuition to ensure that all aspiring advocates can participate. Over six months at our experiential campus, selected Fellows delve into diverse agricultural practices, help cultivate community gardens, and develop innovative educational initiatives that enhance food and ecological literacy. Following their intensive training, Fellows engage in a meaningful Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to bring their knowledge and skills to local initiatives. Applications are welcomed until March each year for experiences running from May through October, as we work together to create equitable access to healthy food and empower communities in Wyoming.
