About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Moran, WY, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders who advocate for food systems that prioritize social, environmental, and economic justice. Through our rigorous, hands-on training program, we empower Fellows to become educators and advocates for sustainable practices. Our fellowship offers broad access to organic food system education without any tuition fees, ensuring that financial barriers are eliminated. Selected participants engage in a transformative six-month residential experience at our campus, where they cultivate diversified crops on a market-style farm, establish educational sessions focused on innovative healthcare, maintain community and school gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy. Additionally, Fellows will contribute to the vitality of local farmers markets and support direct-to-consumer outreach efforts. After their intensive training, they will embark on a Community Action Year with regional non-profits, applying their skills to foster healthy food access and strengthen community food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program activities running from May to October.
