About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Newcastle, WY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food systems equity. This transformative program empowers Fellows to become passionate advocates for a food system that is just for all people while fostering environmental stewardship and economic viability. Through experiential learning at our unique Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in a comprehensive six-month training, learning about organic food systems, innovative health care education, and food literacy integration in schools. Our approach prioritizes accessibility, as we do not charge tuition, supporting inclusive participation. After their training, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to grow and distribute diverse crops, mentor new leaders, and strengthen community food initiatives. Join us in promoting healthier, more equitable food access in your community and apply by March for an enriching experience running from May to October.
