About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Ten Sleep, WY, provides an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a fair and sustainable food system. Our program sponsors and trains dedicated Fellows, equipping them to be advocates and educators in the realms of social, environmental, and economic food justice. We offer a comprehensive curriculum in organic food systems that emphasizes hands-on learning and practical application. Throughout a six-month immersive experience, participants engage at the Allegheny Farm Campus, focusing on diverse crop production, innovative health education, and community food access initiatives. We empower our Fellows to collaborate with local non-profits, develop community gardens, support local farmers markets, and integrate food literacy into educational systems. With a commitment to accessibility, we do not charge tuition, fostering inclusivity in the journey toward enhancing food systems and supporting regional communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
