About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Worland, WY, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates and educators who champion a sustainable food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This empowering program provides comprehensive organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Selected Fellows engage in hands-on training at our farm, where they learn to grow and distribute diversified crops. They also implement innovative educational programs, maintain community and school gardens, and promote food literacy. Our initiative supports local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer channels, enhancing access to healthy foods while fostering community engagement. After a six-month immersive experience, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills and knowledge. Applications are open until March each year, with the fellowship experience typically taking place from May to October.
