About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship at Yellowstone National Park, WY, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through our experiential learning program, we empower Fellows to engage with organic food system education, providing them with the tools they need to promote environmental, social, and economic equity. Fellows gain hands-on experience in diverse agricultural practices, community gardening, and innovative health education, while also contributing to local farmers markets and food access initiatives. Our commitment to accessibility means we do not charge tuition, ensuring that motivated individuals can join our mission without financial barriers. Over a six-month residency followed by a Community Action Year, our Fellows partner with regional non-profit organizations to implement their learning and foster impactful food solutions in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, providing a transformative opportunity to make a difference in the local food landscape.
