Love yourself. Remind yourself about all the great things that you do, and so when other people say negative things about you you can rationally think "They don't know the positives about me" or "They're being irrational and judgmental".

Try to be self-confident. Remind yourself that what they say isn't true, and that if other people believe it then they aren't people who are worth your time.

Keep in mind that eventually as you move on in life, those who speak negatively of you can be left behind. They won't matter anymore and you'll have many others who will respect and care for you. You are extremely unique.

This is an answer that's going to sound a bit "Odd". But let's re-word this question. Why should you care what other people think? The only person you should ever have to worry about making happy and/or pleasing is yourself. What other people say, it's all just opinions. If someone thinks negatively of you, Then that's their opinion. That doesn't make it true. Happiness is a choice. Life isn't about pleasing everyone else.

The best advice I have for this is fake it until you make it! Fake the confidence and act like nothing anyone says bothers you until it really doesn't bother you. Also, just remember that your opinion of yourself is all that matters. I know it's easier said than done, but it is true. Love yourself, and don't let anyone get in the way of that.

You just need to remember that you are your own person. How other people perceive you isn't as important as you being comfortable in yourself. If you worry about finding friends or people liking you, remember that when you are yourself, the kind of people who are drawn to you like you as a person. As friends should.

For me, doing a mantra and thinking of positive thoughts would help me mind my own space. For example. I would say to myself, "They are not important, they are not important, do not mind them." Also, I would thinking of the good things that happened in my life to thwart those thoughts.

Caring is a natural human feeling. No matter what, everyone cares what others say. You can chose how to react, and act as if you do not care. However, everyone always cares.

Believe in yourself! There's no other better believer of what you can and cannot do than yourself. You are what makes your life beautiful and exciting. Believe in what your can do and you'll find yourself wondering why did I even let them dictate what I can and cannot do when all I have to do is believe and be content.

It's all up to you on when you stop caring about what other people think! It's something you discover in your inner self and learn to do. You shouldn't care what others think because life's too short to try and please others. Stay true to yourself and be who you wanna be; don't let anyone stop you from doing so.

As kids we're often told to not care about what others say, but it's hard to not care when those comments hit our insecurities. One thing that has worked for me is doing some reflection on why I'm sensitive to such remarks. Is it because I'm "overweight", have a "big nose", or speak with a "stutter"? If so, why are any of those qualities targets of laughter, mocking, w/e. There isn't anything inherently wrong with any of those traits. They just are. Anyone who makes fun of others clearly has their own issues, so next time someone says something mean, pause, let it slide, say yea thanks, or just ignore them. Eventually they'll stop. In the meantime further self-exploration can help boost your self-esteem and build your immunity towards what others say or think about you.

That's a tough question, but it starts with a simple changing of the mind that you will do what's best for you because know one knows you better. Also knowing that whatever that person is saying probably cares just as much or more about what other people say to them
