How do I tell my nail tech that I am too afraid to come back to her after the pandemic? I am 79 and scared so I want to stop getting my nails done.

Just tell her. If she's a professional and has any kind of compassion for people she will completely understand.
I'm sure you are not the only one who is having doubts about going back our in public.
Some nail techs where I'm at are nervous about going back to work - some places haven't even opened back up yet.
A lot of people are scared about this pandemic- especially those over 65 and/or others who are at a greater risk of getting sick. You're not alone.

As anxious as you may feel about it, I think the best choice is to just tell your nail tech that you don't want to run the risk of going back to her after the pandemic, for the sake of your health. Many people have been off-put by the pandemic, and it's only normal given the gravity of the situation for you to make the decision to stay away from things such as getting your nails done, which is a luxury more than a necessity. You have every right to be scared and your safety is always the priority. Just tell her that, I'm sure she'll understand.
